You betta check yo self!

When things in your marriage aren't going well, you often blame your spouse before taking a look in the mirror. Many times we don't want to be the loser of a "heated discussion" (that's what my dad calls arguments). But when you and your spouse are at odds, aren't you both losers?   One of the biggest lessons I learned while being married was to own my stuff. It took me a while to grasp this concept because I only wanted to look at his stuff...his shortcomings...his issues. I'm not saying your spouse is always right, but neither are you. Learn how to fight fair. Using phrases like "you always" or "you never" is not fighting fair. Someone said to me recently that they don't mind arguments with their spouse cause the make up sex is incredible. REALLY??? If you're having make up sex everyday, clearly there is a problem....just saying.

So, I'll end this with todays PSA: For everything that is wrong with your spouse, there is something equally as wrong with you.
